Plot Summary:
Three film adaptation of end-of-the-world manga "20th Century Boy" written by Naoki Urasawa. The story is set in 2017 A.D., year 3 of Friend Era. The leader of a cult "Friend" assumes the World President and rules humanity. After a deadly virus ravages Tokyo, the city is isolated from the rest of the world with towering walls and oppressive surveillance. One day, "Friend" tells that "On August 20th, mankind will be terminated by aliens and only those who believe in him will be saved." On the outside of the towering wall, a man carrying a guitar tries to break down very tight security station.
